(Albany, NY) June 14, 2021 – For the past several years the New York State Park Police have been operating under a veil of uncertainty resulting from budget cuts, diminishing staffing levels, and transfer of operational control to the New York State Police.

OTIS Technology Donates PPE for PBA to Deliver Across NYS

Otis Technology, a manufacturing company founded and built in Northern New York has produced and donated six pallets of PPE products to the PBA of NYS for distribution to it's members and the COVID sites on which they work. 

PBA President, Ryan Law and Alternate Director, Jason Fanning arranged pick up today and are working on the distribution of the product to several sites across the state.

PBA President Ryan Law wrote a letter to Governor Andrew Cuomo advocating for PBA members, who have worked the front lines of the state’s COVID response on 2014 salaries, to finally have their pay bill released to the Legislature to update their salaries.

COVID-19 Vaccine Phase 1B

Over the weekend, Governor Cuomo expanded vaccinations to include those currently eligible under group 1A and begin the vaccination of those eligible under group 1B effective today, Monday, January 11, 2021.
